Jimbo’s fake passport: the sinister backstory

Profiting from death

James Robert Goldberg is a deadbeat dad who failed to pay child support for his only son Joshua who has been dead for over 18 years. California then revoked his passport, so he got this fake one. Jimbo then wrote a poorly-reviewed book to profit off his son’s death, pulling at people’s heartstrings. It seems that if he cared about his son, he would have supported him while he was alive.

Gaming the system

After not paying child support, never being there for his only son, and attempting to profit from his son’s death, Jimbo attempted to move his child support case out of California and into New Mexico, hoping to get a more sympathetic judge so he could retrieve his passport. The NM judge scolded Mr. Goldberg and told him he needed to pay his child support, right before dismissing his case with prejudice.

Ulterior motives

Everything James Robert Goldberg says has a backstory, an ulterior motive, a deeper fact pattern. Nothing is what Jimbo says it is, including on his Curriculum Vitae. The real truth is hidden, simply because Jimbo is terrified of the unflattering facts reflecting back to him everywhere he goes. A life of lies, manipulation and bluster. A story within a story within a story, as his many selves play a never-ending game of good-cop bad-cop, masking his bullying.

Why Jimbo’s passport was revoked.

Very simply, James Robert “Jimbo” Goldberg’s passport was revoked by California Child Support Services because of Jimbo skipping out on child support for Joshua, his son.

The deeper story of this matter is very sinister and involves an elaborate scheme to avoid supporting his son, and then trying to profit from his son’s death.

Monkeying

Jimbo’s passport monkey business

James Robert Goldberg never financially supported his only son, Joshua, leaving him out in the cold.

This is a recurring theme in Mr. Goldberg’s life: everyone is disposable once they’ve been used up. Even his own son. A former colleague explains, “James Robert Goldberg operates as if everyone’s time and resources are his own, burning through a ton of people.”

Child Support Enforcement takes away Jimbo’s passport

Yet Jimbo now attempts to profit from his son Joshua’s death by wearing the cloak of the grieving father. California Child Support Enforcement responded by to this deadbeat dad appropriately by revoking Jimbo’s passport, sending him into a tailspin from which he has never recovered.

Jimbo’s attempt to skirt responsibility fails spectacularly

In an attempt to circumvent the rules, Mr. Goldberg apparently tried to move his case out of California and into New Mexico, likely hoping they would be more sympathetic to deadbeat dads. See case number D-202-DM-201302754, New Mexico 2nd Judicial Court, Bernalillo County. The New Mexico judge responded appropriately by scolding Mr. Goldberg for failing to support his own son, and then quickly dismissed the case with prejudice.

Jimbo’s LinkedIn profile embodies this tortured world view.

On LinkedIn, Jimbo writes:

“…At the end of the day, I am a humanist. It enriches me to give to others in need. Think Globally. Act Locally.”

If someone doesn’t pay child support for their only son, and loses their passport for that very reason, do they really know how to give to others in need?

Perhaps thinking locally starts at home, with taking care to make sure that your own flesh and blood grows up feeling safe and loved.

Those who know Jimbo the best have told us that they feel that his son Joshua died of a broken heart, in pieces over time. That feels more likely than Jimbo’s conspiracy theory that Bumrungrad, a highly-rated hospital in Thailand harvested Joshua’s organs.

Jimbo’s wild conspiracy book fails spectacularly

Jimbo authored a book that is an astonishing cocktail of woe and deep dives into old disproven conspiracy theories about the medical system, and a few facts, adding in his son’s death for good measure. The reviews of this book as a whole are really bad.

Jimbo’s ineffective vanity passport

Meanwhile, in an attempt to solve his passport woes, Mr. Goldberg secured this vanity passport from the World Government of World Citizens. Such a vanity passport is not accepted by almost any country, though a few nations recognized by the international community as terrorist sponsors do accept it. We have it on high authority that Jimbo crosses into Mexico illegally.

Meanwhile, Jimbo appears to have fled to Mexico, perpetually on the move, apparently continuing to defraud people remotely.
